Ok, this week has just been so lighthearted and I like it. Sometimes you get bogged down so much in the day to day - you just gotta get away. So today let's focus on the world of entertainment in all it's forms - I wasn't even going in this direction today, but after seeing something I just had to switch gears. Besides who wants to follow up DRIPPIN CHOCOLATE with some kinda mind numbing downer, lol
- Ok right off the bat, I am going to need TELEVISION TO SIT THE HELL DOWN! However, I am quite intrigued by the revelation that Erik Estrada has been wearing a Hair Piece! and will unveil his real hair line on this show! Will Latoya reveal her real nose? and in a side note - at the Laugh Factory will Steve Harvey rip his hair piece off in a show of defiance?
- Right now my favorite song is "Hip Hop is Dead" by Nas. If you are gonna sample, then do it right. Seeing as this is Will I Am, is making me even more hype about his supposed work on Mikes stuff
- Speaking of music. I was telling CAUN last nite that for now I don't want to see the video for this song. I want to listen to the music without visuals. I feel that though there are some artists that have profited greatly from being able to provide visuals, sometimes videos mess up a song. What happened to you making your own personal video in your head as you listen to the song. What happened to just feeling the music. Once you see a video then it's not about the song, it's about what they had on, who the hoochies were, how bad was the lip sync etc. etc. There are folks who need to GIVE UP making videos all together because it doesn't do them justice and it takes away from their craft. JILL SCOTT, MAXWELL, ANITA BAKER, MUSIQ, ERYKAH BADU, KINDRED, INDIA ARIE and PRINCE. Okay about Prince, if it's a performance video fine - because of his craftmanship, you do want to see him jamming but a straight video NO!! When it comes to the Janet's, Madonna's and Michael's of the world. They don't make video's, they make intrepretations of song, lol Keep doing it! However, I think that if we didn't necessarily have to see Mike recently -some of his stuff would have done better. Remember George Michael backed out of his video and it was hot.
- Ok everytime I hear all this drama Jennifer Holliday is generating about Dreamgirls - do I get this visual of that Episode of Martin when Biggie was on there looking for Back ground singers and Gina and Pam had that battle royale on the stage, LOL LOL LOL I can see the two Jennifers tussling singing "And I Am Telling You" LOL LOL LOL
- I taped America's Next Top Model but it don't matter - I couldn't really get into it like I wanted to and already read Caridee won. YAWN. I heard that next season might be all plus size girls, you know size 5's and up. That should be interesting. Bring on the next pagent Monique gives.

- Tim Gunn - the Fashion Chair on Project Runway won't be back for the next season. Why do I feel like Miss Jay is going to make a grand appearance or horror yet - Janice Dickinson YIKES!
- I guess Dreamgirls made Eddie long to be seen again - Alex Foley is back! However, who wants to see that. I want to see THIS!
- Remember when Steven Segal was obviously wearing a girdle as he keeps attempting to be the Last Samuri. Well Sylvester Stallone apparently will need a full Emergency Room Team - WHY IN SAM HELL IS HE DOING ROCKY AGAIN!
- Blockbuster is SCARED of Netflix so they are running this interesting little diddy

- Curb Your Enthusiam is adding Vivica A Fox to the show for the next season. This show is actually kinda funny in a 'channel your neonegro persona' kinda way, lol lol This should be interesting.
Well there you have it and I want to give a special shout-out to all of the Gossip Rags I read because it takes ALOT of work to do all that cutting and pasting and linking etc. etc. DAYUM!
